The Colours of Autumn - Mindblowing Colour filled the Viewfinder
Image notes: Shot at 3.15pm on 2nd May, 2014. Time was marching on, when I spied this image. Shooting at 14mm is not simple. At 14mm, there's a lot of space in the image, & if it's not perfectly balanced, the image looks wrong. I love that this image conveys so well what the scene looked like from my view-point, crouched in the gloom inside this tree, next to the fence, peering back into the courtyard. The intensity of the colours around me was amazing.
Display note: This is a Dark image. It explores Saturation at low Light levels; a subject I'm passionate about. For best enjoyment of this image, I advise positioning on a light-coloured wall, in a room with high levels of Ambient light. Dedicated image-lighting is recommended.
Image Size: 320 x 480mm.
