Once was a Tree ..
Camera: Nikon D810. Lens: Nikkor 85mm (F/1.4) Prime. The Canola season, in Spring, is keenly anticipated by Photographers. The Berrima - Moss Vale area, in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, is a surprise for me; I'd never seen Canola here before. No complaints, though. I love the more compact images of this area; full of character. This image came about whilst skulking about on a Canola shoot with friends. I loved the opportunity to document the decomposition of a tree, with a bright Canola crop & an interesting silver-grey sky in the background. I've long wanted to shoot these locations in big images. Display note: This is a Dark image. It explores Imaging at low Light levels; a subject I'm passionate about. For best enjoyment of this image, I advise positioning on a light-coloured wall, in a room with high levels of Ambient light. Dedicated image-lighting is recommended.
