Dark & Moody - Gunyah Beach view toward Sandshoes

Camera: Nikon D200. Lens: 18-200mm/f3.5-5.6.  Shot at mid-afternoon in early April 2014, at Bundeena, in the Royal National Park. This image is taken at Gunyah Beach, at the point where the Hacking River enters the sea. Raining lightly, as always, with very low light levels producing deep levels of Saturation. Trying to keep the gear dry. It had been raining for hours & days & weeks. Very rare in Sydney. Everywhere the foliage was lush; the ground soft. In this image, the tranquility of the bay is total, & with the backdrop across the bay peering through the gloom. A quiet scene, & very beautiful.
