* Pre-Dawn at Oak Park; Sunday 15th June 2014. June 15 2014
On a morning where Thredbo got it's 1st 20cm of the white stuff, we got a beautifully-coloured Dawn at Oak Park, in Cronulla. I froze, as always, but I wouldn't have missed this for anything. Tranquil, stunningly beautiful. The cloud from the snow system moved over us in an almost ominous manner.
As the Sun's rays got underneath the thick layer of cloud, it coloured-up as I watched, moving quickly from East to West across the under-layer.
And, when the Sun rose above the horizon, it smashed the Metering to bits. The Light was destroyed in a second. The colour disappeared instantly. Amazing.
